About Bee Rooted

Bee Rooted was first planted in 2019 under a different name—Bee Five Hive. At the time, I (Katie-lyn Smith) knew God was calling me to create something for women, but honestly, I wasn’t sure what it was meant to become. I was eager, but uncertain. Inspired, but striving. And soon, things went quiet. I lost direction, relying more on myself than on God.

In August 2021, that began to shift. God laid a new vision on my heart—a clearer one. He showed me that this wasn’t meant to be just another blog or “project,” but a sacred space for real women to share the stories that shaped them: their testimonies, struggles, victories, and in-between moments.

Still, the road between then and now has been anything but straight. There were seasons of doubt, deep personal growth, surrender, and even silence. But through it all, the roots were growing—deeper, stronger, hidden at first but undeniable now.

And that’s why in 2025, Bee Five Hive became Bee Rooted. A rebrand, yes—but more than that, a realignment.

This is now a space grounded in grace, truth, and authenticity. Bee Rooted exists for women who are becoming—those who are still healing, still rising, still learning how to be planted in God’s promises and purpose.

Psalm 66:16 says, “Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what He has done for me.” That’s the heart of Bee Rooted. Every story shared here—whether whispered, written, or shouted—is a seed. A testimony. A reminder that God meets us right where we are and uses our stories to bloom something beautiful.
